Mancat Monday: snow

Momma said a bunch of bad words when she got up yesterday morning. Something about living in the (bad word, bad word) Arctic. We got snow this weekend. Then there was icy rain last night, so some of the snow is gone now, but there is going to be more snow coming down today. I don't like the cold either, but I'm a polite sort of guy, so I don't say the bad words like my momma.
When it's snowy outside, Coco has to wear her sweater so she doesn't get snow on her tummy. She likes the snow, though, and she sticks her whole head into the snow piles. Dogs are kinda clueless that way.
An important job for a mancat when you live in the (bad word) Arctic is curling up on your momma and keeping her feet warm. Momma says she doesn't know how she'd get through the (bad word) winter without my gravy, as Sunny's Momma would say!

Wow at all that snow! You are very brave to go out in it. My doggie brother Loki loves snow and ice. I agree that doggies are clueless. Who would love to be cold and wet?

We are furry lucky...we don't get white stuff on the ground outside of our house. In fact Momma was grumbling yesterday that it was 80 degrees....

You're a nice kitty to keep your Momma feet warm. It's early summer here and we have thunderstorms, so I am the one who mutter bad words as I hide under the table and rocking chair. It doesn't get too cold here but that doesn't mean SS refrains from bad words from time to time. Do you think they teach them bad words in the graduate school?

Yep, the gravy generates warmth. Which is good for sharing with your Mommy (or Daddy). That's why it's important to keep your graviness well fed!

We got about an inch of that nasty white stuff, then the rain washed it all away.

You are so nice to help keep your Mommy's feet warm. My woofie Sushi has to wear a sweater in the snow sometimes too. She is so low to the ground she gets all wet and dirty in just a few minutes.

Please keep the snow up there. We are ready for it to warm up here already!

Hi! My beans don't like snow either. They say naughty words when it happens.

Mommy's old woofies used to have booties! Coco looks very cute. Aren't you glad you don't have to wear a sweater? Do you go outside in the snow??? I'm glad I don't have to, I prefer warm afghans.

That snow looks very interesting. I can't wait for it to snow here. I've only seen snow through the window. The Lady said that she would take me outside this year.

Yeah, Moms like that curling up on the feet bit when it's cold. I sleep on Mom's feet at night when it's cold. She wiggles a bit, but still, it's kind of nice.
Stay warm up there in the (bad word) Arctic, bud!

Icky snow! After living in Canada for 18 yrs My Mummy refers to snow as "that 4 letter word", I'z fink she saw a lot of it there and says she doesn't wanna see it again now she's back in the UK. When she hears people moaning about the rain here she likes to remind them that you don't have to shovel rain! ;)

I expect to hear some of those words soon. We are supposed to get a lot of that white stuff tonight!

We had lots of snow and then it rained and now the snow is all gone, but we are supposed to get lots this weekend! My Mum has some special words for the snow too, I can't repeat them though they are on the naughty word list.

OH how the mosaic cats and Lady feel your pain, JJ! They say if they never see snow again it will be too soon. You're right about clueless dogs, though. "Mosaic Dawg! Get the Snow!" was a big hit in CO.

Jimmy Joe, I LOVE your idea of rolling the dead Explorer out onto the "lawn" to use as an ornament. A decaying car in our front yard is exactly the sort of decorating that people do here in NC!
