I forgot to wish Dragonheart a great happy birthday on Tuesday -- d'oh! He has a super-cool new ancient-Egypt style design. I am very impressed by his Sphynx lineage. We cats started out in Egypt, you know. I read that our wild ancestors, Felix silvestris, still roam the Nile wilderness. You can read about the wild cats of Egypt here.
Dragonheart and Yao-Lin are so aristocratic. Momma says I'm decended from Felix redneckus. But I think maybe she's just teasing me.
I am working on the first part of Dragonheart's scavenger hunt...getting out the ol' Thesaurus Rex...

Actually, my birthday was yesterday, but thank you for the belated birthday wishes! I do appreciate them. :)
Humans can be weird at times. Thanks for the link to the cats of Egypt. :)
Hahahaha...that was funny Jimmy Joe. Momma had a good laff this morning.
Unfortunately we missed Dragonheart's party. We misunderstood Paris time..so we missed it by a whole day. It sure looks like everyone had a great time. Dragonheart is really a sweetie, isn't he?

Jimmy Joe, you are a very silly boy!
I think kitties are now from Mess-o-potamia before Egypt. Scout told me so, she reads the newspaper. That suits me just fine.I love messes, you know!
Why thank you for acknowledging my aristocating lineage but truthfully, within each and every cat there is an aristocat waiting to get out! It's the part of us that makes us turn our noses up and food and turn away haughtily when someone displeases us! You are royal too simply because you are feline! xx
Hi Jimmy Joe, thanks for the info on the cats in Egypt. Our Mom likes country music and we mean Johnny Cash and Marty Robbins. That's pretty rednecky, don't you think? Have a good day!
Your FL furiends,

Hey Jimmy Joe!

Felix redneckus! HaHaHa! Good one!
Hi! I think all us cats are being treated by royalty. I'll have to look into that nip question. I believe that if the nip is being consumed in a meeting or negotiation, it is perfectly OK to write it off.
hehehe--Mom giggled at that one!
Kavan doesn't have ear mites any more, the treatment he got when they were so bad got rid of them. But the vet didn't know at the time that they caused the perforated ear drum.
So, no more bugs!
