She stuck her whole head in a bucket of water---for an apple!!! Now if that isn't crazy, I don't know what is. She said she got the apple first and won, so it was totally worth it. That is not my idea of a party. I much prefer sitting on snugglies and eating jellied eels--thanks, Fat Eric!

PS On the note of being weird, please come to my blog and check out the comparisons between grad students and cats. See if you agree. I wish SS would get a move on with that thesis of hers. In a month's time her scholarship is due to finish and it really doesn't look like that piece of writing that she has been working on for years is anything like ready for preview.
